  • $18 - $20.00/hour depending on experience for Armed Security Guards
  • $25.00/hour for Certified Police Officer

Position Details

Seeking hard working and reliable security personnel to join a team of trained Armed Security Guards at our Razny Jewelers Addison, Highland Park, and Oak St. Locations.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

• Valid PERC (Permanent Employee Registration Card) License
• Valid ILLINOIS FOID card (Firearm Owners Identification)
• High School Diploma and/or GED Equivalent
• Must have Reliable means of Transportation
• Minimum of one (1) year of Security Customer Service
• Must have a personal handgun by the time FCC is granted 

DUTIES:

• Monitor premises to prevent theft, violence, trespassing, & loitering
• Monitor CCTV both interior and exterior
• Thoroughly examine: doors, windows, and gates to ensure proper function and security
• Report any store issues to the appropriate staff member/supervisor
• Request emergency personnel for high risk situations

• Ability to stand and open/close doors for customers
• Ability to write and communicate professionally in English
• Ability to resolve concerns while maintaining a friendly and professional demeanor
• Ability to demonstrate customer service skills, engaging in conversations to identify the needs or concerns
• Ability to communicate professionally and effectively and adapt skills to a variety of audiences
• Ability to demonstrate teamwork, by assisting and communicating with co-workers
• Ability to adapt to changing hours throughout the year and able to stay past closing hours if needed
